Now that’s more like it.

Sacramento’s forecast high today was to be 100 degrees. But we are in the Sierra Nevada town of Truckee enjoying our first picnic, on the way to Grandmommy and Granddaddy’s house in Colorado.
The cooler ice has not yet melted and infiltrated the plastic bags and containers that we thought were watertight.
There is no wet cheese. I repeat, no wet cheese.
Our two-and-half-year-old is telling jokes. How much would chuck woodchuck woodchuck?

So glad you could encounter some cooler weather. Enjoy the journey and post plenty of photos!
